Word Grid

Here's another word grid challenge. Can you beat your last target? The nine-letter word is mathematical shape. Remember you can use any letter in any order but each only once in each word.

How many words can you make? You can only use each letter once in each word. Your target is 15 words. If you want a harder challenge try to use the centre letter in every word. There is one nine-letter word, you might find it out at sea!

FACT OR OPINION?
A fact is something which can be proved. An opinion is somebody’s own idea which cannot be proved. Be careful - opinions are often presented as facts!

E.g. “The mouse was 2 inches long.” This is a fact because it can be proved.
The mouse can be measured.
“You are fat!” This an opinion because what seems fat to someone may
be thin for someone else.

Which of these are facts and which are opinions?
1. The boy had green eyes.
2. The girl could swim really fast.
3. You need 100 grammes of sugar to make the cake.
4. The chocolate cost 45 pence.
5. That lesson was boring.
6. Brad Pitt is gorgeous!
7. I am 6 feet tall.
8. I was born on 31st August.
9. The boy’s name was Jamie.
10. I hate eating vegetables.
