Instructions

This is best viewed in Full Screen. If you are using a Promethean board, use the 'web controller'. If you are using Internet Explorer click on 'View' (top left) then 'Full Screen'. (to get beck to a normal view of Internet Explorer click on the 2 boxes on the top right). You can also use the button F11 to go from full screen view and back.

Click on the link above and enter the church by placing your cursor over the front door and clicking with the left mouse button. This will take you into the porch, find out about the different areas of the church by moving your mouse over the screen and clicking when the cursor changes from an arrow to a hand. Beware, there are some hidden links - you will have to look for very carefully!

A gold arrow appears at the bottom left of each page this takes you back to the previous page.

About this resource

This resource is a virtual representation of St. James Church in Grimsby consisting of digital images, text and sound. It was created using Clicker 4 software and is available for use on both the PC and Mac platforms. It has ben converted here to web pages.
The virtual church has been created as a joint project by Pat Whitley, Sheila Woods (teacher at Macaulay Infants School) and South Parade Infants School. It was adapted for the Internet by Nicola Worrell.

It is hoped that this resource will support teaching and learning in the following units of study from the North East Lincolnshire Scheme of Work for Religious Education.
