Michael Trussell was a student in the Cleethorpes 6th Form from Sept 2003 to June 2005. His tutors, Mr B Green, from TLS Community Arts College, and Mr M Dent, from Matthew Humberstone, were delighted to hear that in this summer’s A Level Examinations, Michael had achieved an exceptional result in ICT, securing marks which placed him in the top 4 students in the country on this particular course. He was subsequently selected to receive an award by the BCS in London in December,2005. This is a fantastic achievement and thoroughly well deserved. Congratulations, Michael!

A second student, Clare Martin, who was taught GCSE ICT at The Lindsey School and Community Arts College from Sept 2003 to June 2005 by Mr P Smith, achieved another outstanding result: her performance in this year’s examinations placed her in the top 10 female students in the country for the AQA GCSE ICT Course. In recognition of this superb achievement, this month Clare was invited to attend a BAFTA Award meeting in London where she was presented with £50 and a Special Award Certificate. Congratulations to you, too, Clare!
