Healing Primary School have been emailing a School in Canada to compare their day and the weather.

HELLO!!!!

This is our picture diary of our day at Healing Primary School.

At the beginning of the school day, we play in the playground . When the whistle blows, everyone in the playground goes quiet and then the second whistle blows and we line up and wait until Mr Grant comes and takes us into the classroom. When we have hung our coats up in the cloakroom, we go into the classroom and do the morning activities, which is one of word games, timetables, own books or school reading books.

After we have done the morning activities, we go into assembly. At twenty to ten we go to English. Our English teacher is Mrs Moore. After we have had Literacy we have a break. We play with all our friends who are playing with a Hula-hoop and then the whistle blows and we go to Maths. At the moment we are doing measuring in mm and cm. At five past twelve we are dismissed to go to dinner. We play in the playground until our dinner card is held up. The dinner ladies take us in to wash our hands and to hang up our coats and to get our lunch boxes, we then walk down the corridors to the dinner hall .Then, the dinner ladies show where we sit. We sit with our friends, who are Karina (she is in the picture above), Connie, Lucy, and Danielle. We finish our lunches and we go outside again to play and wait for the whistle.

Mrs Frost

When we come from lunch we have science. Helena has her flute lesson. Our topic in science is healthy eating. At two thirty we go outside for our final break of the day.

We play tig and then the whistle goes. The next lesson we have is finishing off work we have already started such as pieces of art or science. At 3:30 we are dismissed.
