Day Four
By applying the principles and strategies offered during this session, participants will:

Module 4a (9:15am - 12noon)
Have further understanding of the nature of bullying and how it may be addressed as a whole school issue
What is bullying? How do we identify it and deal with it effectively? This session considers practical ways in which we might develop a whole school policy and action agenda for dealing with this sensitive topic.
Be able to apply practical strategies to help pupils with low self esteem
The pressures that often exist in the lives of our children may cause them to experience low levels of self-esteem. This session aids understanding of pupils who have low self esteem and provides practical strategies for helping them to build up more positive views of themselves.

Module 4b (12:45pm - 3:30pm)
Be able to help pupils manage conflict and anger within themselves
This session will provide practical strategies for helping pupils to understand and manage conflict and anger within themselves.
Be able to help pupils to set personal goals for success
This session provides a simple and practical framework for developing pupils as goal setters, resulting in more positive, fulfilled and motivated individuals.
